I ran for two whole minutes today! Talk about a boost!
I found this pin on Pinterest for undiscovered secret workout stations on Pandora. I cranked up the Electronic Cardio Radio station and man. The music on there really does get you in the right mindset to kick some major calories. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy listening to that as I progressively run more and more every time. It's a great discovery. Thank you Pinterest.
My WIP, Controllers, is coming along quite nicely. I finished chapter 4 today and I'm about to work some more on Chapter 5. Rayne finally met her new assistant, Braxton and things are about to get good! She's not the only one with secrets!
Just thought I'd share that discovery and update with you all. I have stopped snacking during the day and I'm cutting out sugary drinks altogether as best I can. I'll pay more attention to the labels when I shop. I did buy some multi-grain peanut butter Cheerios that are delish and I'm drinking lots of sparkling water. I read an article about aspartame and it's not really all that bad. I read a Time Magazine article about it so it seems legit to me. Anywho...
Until then, work out, read more and dare to inspire!

Day 2
The weight loss challenge is going as expected....hard and slow.
The only time these two things are acceptable together is sex and that isn't happening therefore it sucks. Ha!
It's really hard to change your diet. I went all out the last time I did this and switched to skim milk, wheat everything, light everything and lots of fresh fruits. I bought stuff I didn't even know I would like! This time around I don't have a lot of extra cash so I have to buy in moderation. So this time it's slow and easy wins the race.
I am, however, keeping up with my exercising. I'm trying to stick to 30 minutes every night minus the weekends. Those are my rest days. My biggest problem is I am the type of person that without instant results I feel like it's not working. We all know this is completely bogus but it's my horrible mindset. Therefore not losing any pounds during a week is very disheartening.
Now for those men reading this, I don't care how much you fight with a woman on this subject, it is DEFINITELY harder for us females to lose weight. We deal with stress weight which is ten times harder to shed. We also have menstrual cycles that bloat us up with water for a week or more so that's no good either. The moral of the story, it's twice as hard for us to lose weight.
My wonderful father informed me that I have my grandma's child bearing hips so I probably won't be losing much there. And you know what? That's fine. I'm ok with that. I like being curvy. I just don't like the curves that curve the wrong way. To see me in clothes I look fine. But once again, I want to look good naked. And I don't.
So I keep on trudging on. I am doing workouts that don't make me sweat a whole lot. I know that sweating is detoxing and great for your body but it also just gets rid of water weight. I'm doing exercises that require me to build and tone muscle rather than sweat my buns off. Though I really don't want to lose much of those either!
Tomorrow I'll hop back on the treadmill and hopefully run for a few minutes. I'm not pushing though. It took three weeks before I ran the last time. Maybe I'll work back up to that again. Hard telling with me.
For now, it's time for a shower, a nice big glass of water and the latest book I'm reading to review. I hope you haven't forgotten that I'm part of an exquisite upcoming review group called A Thousand Lives Reviews.
Head over to our Blogspot right this minute and enter for a chance to win some great stuff. While you're at it check out the reviews and interviews we've done. They're pretty nifty. Our Facebook could use some love too! Hop to it!
